This is what I'm talking about

I've been waiting for a day like this for the past 6 weeks! I was so excited that my maternity leave would be during the Fall season, but the weather hasn't been all that great until today. Today was 70 degrees and the leaves are changing colors. It's a great relief to the rainy weather we've had for the past few days!

We're so big now!

I had my 6 week follow-up appointment and had Ashton weighed. He's a whopping 9 pounds, 7 ounces! He's jumped up to almost the 25th%ile for his weight! No wonder why he's so darn heavy now! I can't believe women birth babies this big! I think he's just finished another growth spurt. I thought I jinxed my crib training but hopefully we can get his naps and nighttime sleeping back there! Wish me luck!

I'm a big boy now!

Ashton has improved with his neck control so much I decided to try out his Bumbo seat for the first time. For you non-parents, it's a seat that helps infants with their sitting abilities before they can actually sit as well as their head control! We had a rough night... Ashton didn't want to sleep so this was a span of 5 minutes of good mood, if that!
