Funny laughing

Ashton's laugh is so contagious. How can you not laugh with him?

Playing at the park

We had to escape the house for a showing! Hopefully soon we will get an offer that we can accept! Ashton spent some more time flying through the air! It gets a little scary to see how high Matt throws Ashton up in the air!

Ashton giving Parker some love! Parker was so tired after playing frisbee that he just laid there! Good boy!

Poor Parker! Ashton was just bouncing up and down on him!

Hey Mom... here's a stick I found!

The story of my life... chasing this little guy down!

Trying to get a Christmas tree picture

Family pic #1

Family pic #2... pretty good!

Flying high

Ashton really does love being thrown up in the air!

Not so successful getting a good picture with Ashton by the tree! Maybe next time!

Oh so close! I think it was smiling at Santa. Why couldn't he have smiled last weekend?!

Future soccer player

We found a soccer ball in the garden of the Carlisle museum. Ashton had fun kicking the ball around! Maybe we have a future soccer player on our hands here!

The day after Thanksgiving

We spent the night in Alexandria and then went out to explore Old Town Alexandria. It was a very cool area. It was freezing and thankfully stores sold baby hats and mittens. Then we found a GAP outlet and purchased a fleece for both Ashton and Mom to make the rest of the day tolerable.

Ashton checked out the ducks on the Potomac river.

Dad flying Ashton. It doesn't work as well now that he's much bigger.

Freezing... but still cute!

Surroundings well established!

Ashton was still exploring his surroundings here.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Somehow I neglected to take my camera out on Thanksgiving Day! Good thing I hijacked Sohaila's (my cousin) facebook page to borrow some pictures. We spent the day up in Burke (Northern VA) to visit my Auntie Theresa and her family. It was a nice day for Ashton to explore his surroundings of a new home!

Oh my!

Ashton conquers the stairs! He loved sliding down on his stomach and then crawling up them. Unfortunately, once someone stood below him (like Matt down wind), he thought he could walk down like a big boy!

Mommy and Ashton!

Just chilling. He loved running in circles around their kitchen.

Ashton's new haircut

Ashton did well getting his haircut this morning. His cowlick makes the front look crooked but he actually sat down long enough for her to cut straight across.

Yes, he is walking around in his shoes and a diaper. He was so funny. He brought his shoes over to me after putting his diaper on. I guess he thought we should be going somewhere.

Ma... no more pictures please!

Maybe one more!

Eating some ribs

Doesn't he look like he's saying, "Ma... leave me alone! I'm eating some ribs!"

Baby loves his ribs!

Attempted picture with Santa

I attempted to get a picture with Ashton and Santa but he was resistant to sitting with Santa by himself. The best we could do was for me to join them. As you can tell, I am saying Yeah or something like that and making him clap. It's the best we can do for this year. Maybe next year.

Hi and bye

Ashton has mastered waving hi and bye. It's adorable! He doesn't quite know that his hands are waving hi and bye towards himself. So cute!

Playing on the phone

Ashton loves to play on the phone. He holds it up to his ear and pretends he's listening. Isn't it funny what kids learn from just watching?!

Three new things Ashton can do!

1. Wave hi and bye... still need to catch this on camera! It's so adorable!
2. Run... I'm in trouble!
3. Say "Uh oh" and use it correctly in context. He dropped something while Matt was holding him and he said, "uh oh." So cute!

More trouble!

Yes, Ashton has discovered the holes in his nose!

Ashton loved playing with this bell and pushing it back and forth!

One more pic of Dad and Ashton!

Ashton trying to get the water out of a cover. Instead he ended up with a face full of mud!

But he didn't care!

Definitely a climber!

Starting up the stairs!

I like this look... are they really letting me do this??

Getting so high that Matt actually has to follow Ashton!

Almost to the top!

He's so proud of himself! Just look at his little face!

More fun at the park

It was so funny. Ashton tried to climb through the window/hole. He was kicking him little legs and everything!

Ashton actually got down on the ground to find a little berry that fell through the cracks. He was so funny!

I actually caught Ashton looking and me... and he was still for a second!

I made it into a picture!

Peek a boo!
