Swimming!
Grandpa Tom and Ashton enjoyed quite a bit of time in the pool. Ashton learned how to "swim" with the inner tube. He wouldn't let go of Tom but he did kick his legs. I think it's time to sign up for some swim lessons despite the remaining baby belly.
Vegas baby!
We celebrated the end of our vacation with a quick trip to Vegas. Matt's family joined us. It was nice to see his sister, Laura and brother-in-law, Jon. They have a son who is ~2 1/2 months older than Ashton. I can't wait for Ashton to catch-up to Will in development so that they will play a little more together.

Ashton has figured out how to clap! Our family friend, Jen, coerced some clapping out of him.
It's so neat to see all of his new tricks he is learning. It seems like he is doing something new every week. He is still only taking steps but I'm sure it will only be a matter of a few more weeks before he is joins the rest of us bipedal folks. For now, I will enjoy his fast crawling.

Ashton is my little future swimmer. Ashton spent a lot of time with Grandpa Tom in the pool. He likes to dunk his face in the water and will even kick his legs.
Ashton loved the very shallow section of the pool at Trump Towers. They had a wonderful 4 inch section of the pool that he could just wade and crawl around.

Little Filipino boy
Doesn't Ashton just look like a little Filipino boy? He was just so adorable. Too bad he probably got this outfit dirty within a few minutes of eating.
