On Sunday, we went to Water Country, the water park associated with Busch Gardens. Thankfully, they give FREE military passes once a year. So we enjoyed a fun-filled, free day with Ashton. Unfortunately, we stopped at the 1st kiddy pool we saw. Little did we know, there was a better kiddy pool just around the corner. I guess we need to scope out the place next time before making camp. Anyhow, we enjoyed a lovely summer day!

More teeth!

You have to look closely, but you can see his top teeth coming in. His right tooth is a little further down that his left, but thankfully they have broken through the gums! 4 teeth, 10 1/2 months old... onto the table food! For the 1st time, Ashton had the same dinner as us! Yeah!

Getting better at walking

Now that Ashton is being treated for his ear infection, it seems like his walking has improved quite a bit. He even stood up with the assistance of something to pull up on today. I think it's only a matter of weeks now until he is toddling around. Maybe we should baby proof our house now. At least cover those sharp edges!

Ashton loves to play with Parker. He tolerates Ashton (ie Ashton riding him like he's a cowboy) well except when Ashton pulls his hair. They are starting to play a little better together. Ashton likes to share his toys while Parker only participates if something is in it for him, like some good petting and stealing Ashton's balls.
Ashton has learned how to throw balls over the past week. Soon Ashton and Parker will be able to play catch!

OH... and how could I forget??

A week of firsts...

Well, we have been back home for 1 week and we have had our week of firsts...

Ashton has his 1st ear infection.
Ashton has his 1st round of antibiotics.
Aleyna worked her 1st weekend back from vacation.
Matt enjoyed his 1st weekend without having to study.

Not much has gone on over the past week. Ashton adjusted to east coast time quite smoothly. He even slept in until 8am this weekend! Thanks Ashton!
