The big kids!
It's hard for me to clump Violet into the "big kid" category since she is so small and still so young but here she is... one of the big kids. She has grown so much in the last few months. Not only is she getting bigger but she really is growing up. She has graduated to a booster seat at the big table to eat with everyone, she learns more words by the day, and has dropped to only one nap a day. More for Mommy than for Violet to keep her and Ashton napping at the same time. Thankfully that one nap is 3-4 hours!
As for Ashton, he is a proud big brother and is all of 3 years old. After almost being completely potty trained, he has regressed a little. I have trusted him to tell me when he has to go which has led to many accidents. And after months of no #2 accidents, he has had at least a handful. Ugh! Everyone prepared me for this! He continues with his swimming lessons and is progressing. He loves all things boys including all trucks -- especially garbage trucks, cranes, and power shovels. He has requested many garbage and recycling trucks for his birthday already. I can't believe he is almost 3 years old!

Ashton is a Big Brother
Ashton is the most adorable big brother. He really is a good boy. He loves to hold Timothy and is very soft and gentle with him.
Ashton helps Timothy get through his first "tummy time."
Timothy still does not enjoy it but Ashton is such a good big brother
This picture made me realize how small Timothy really is. Ashton's hand looks huge on his baby brother!

Our 1st trip to Santa Maria
My first trip to Santa Maria with all three kids took 4 1/2 hours with 2 stops. A trip that used to take 2 1/2 to 3 hours now is a little bit longer... and louder! Violet screams and cries when she is ready to stop, Timothy cries when he's hungry, and Ashton cries when he wants the movie changed. Oh the joys of kids and car trips!

I just noticed that Violet is tall enough to reach the door knobs. Thankfully she has not figured out how to turn the knobs but she has figured out how to open our doors with the pull knobs. Uh oh!

Timothy's photo session - 4 days old
No words can really describe the first few newborn days ie daze. He has settled into life as a new member of our family. He sleeps well for the most part but likes to disrupt Mommy's sleep especially from 12-3am. Ugh! Only about 6-8 more months of this right?! Or he could be my "good" baby and sleep through the night earlier! One can only wish!
