The News is Out!

Well, the secret is out! We are pregnant once again with Baby Besmer #4. At first we wanted to keep it a secret until we knew the sex of the baby, but then we were so close to Christmas cards, I wanted to wait until then! So the day after the ultrasound, we ventured out for a picture session! Can you tell only Ashton was a willing participant!

In case the pictures above were too subtle, here is the main clue!

Happy Halloween

So, we have had a silent blog lately but good news is about to come out! But in the meanwhile, I need to do some catching up! This Halloween Ashton was a ninja, Violet was Snow White, and Tim was a dragon (minus his hood/mask). Tim took five costume tries before he finally left one on! We went through Elmo (his favorite right now), Buzz Lightyear, Power Rangers, and one more before he finally let me leave the dragon on! With a little bribe called a lollipop!

Single Palms Pumpkin Patch

We headed to a local Fresno pumpkin patch, "out in the country" is how the kids like to say it vs. the one located in town with tons of rides. We got to cut our pumpkins straight from the vine, walked through a corn maze, and take a hay ride! The kids had a blast!

Dad and Ashton in search for the perfect pumpkin

Violet and her "cheese"

Tim didn't even pretend to cheese. I think he might have been kicking the dirt.

His "cheese" with his picked pumpkin! He really did stop and started pulling at this pumpkin.

Ashton's picked perfect pumpkin. It still has green on it, his favorite color of course!

All three self-chosen pumpkins

Tim found some corn in the corn maze

As good as it gets with all three kids

Not sure? Pumpkin head

I so wanted this picture to turn out! Almost!

Getting ready to carve their pumpkins

Ashton did a good job cleaning out the guts!

Violet wasn't as excited about getting dirty

Tim was more interested in climbing the tree

Cheese!

The finished carved pumpkins! Looks like Mommy ended up doing a majority of the cutting. We used the carving pumpkin kits and I didn't realize until trying to get the "discarded" portions out that their were ratings. These were 2/4 hard. I should have made them picked the easiest ones!

Tino & MaryBeth's wedding day

My brother's wedding was this weekend. Violet was a well behaved and very professional flower girl. I was a little worried she wouldn't perform up to par, but she did wonderful! It was a fun and exhausting day all in one! Congrats to the happy couple!

Can you tell she likes her dress?
