We enjoyed a fun day at the Children's Museum in Virginia. Unfortunately a lot of the exhibits were closed but that didn't stop Ashton from having tons of fun!Ashton and Dad played at the science lab!

That's my son! Playing with the fruit in the grocery store!

Enjoying the fire truck!

and the policeman's motorcycle!

and of course driving the bus!

playing in the bubbles

Water park

It was a warm weekend so we decided to take Ashton to a new water park. It's right in the middle of a new outdoor mall. Ashton enjoyed playing in the water and even made some new friends!

More walking and standing up

Ashton is walking a majority of the time now. He has even figured out how to stand up on his own. It's amazing how much better balance and steadiness he gets everyday! It really is a daily improvement! He just loves to walk just to walk. Except he gets upset when I make him walk.

It's only beginning

Ashton enjoyed a fun day at daycare. Our daycare provider took Ashton to the water park on post. It has the little water shoots from the ground. Anyways, one shot out from the ground apparently surprising Ashton. And he took a fall! He came out with a little scrape on his face. A little TLC from our provider and he was back on his feet to play in the water. This is only the beginning! He's already had his first bloody nose. And I thought he would get his first shiner but must have missed hitting his eye the other day! Boys! What are you going to do?!

Messy Messy

We are trying new foods everyday to find ones that Ashton will eat. He willingly took a few bites of Chef Boy-R-Dee beefaroni. After awhile he gets mad and stops trying the new food. So we finish off the meal with pineapple (one of his favorites) and of course Lil' Crunchies. Today we tried Goldfish as the new food of the day. Might be a new favorite!

Our computer boy

Ashton is fascinated with our laptops, so I invested in one for him... to hopefully save ours from fingerprints, pulling, and hopefully avoid them being broken soon. His laptop is designed for children over 4 years old and has a lot of fun games but he likes the noises it makes, loves to push the buttons, and open and close the lid. Here's hoping a $30 child laptop spares his parent's laptops!

Happy 11 months!

It's much harder to catch Ashton still next to Pooh bear these days! He's so active! He is mainly walking now, only crawling after he falls down. He hasn't quite figured out how to stand up by himself, but once he does we're going to be in trouble. He loves to get into trouble!
