It's all about Tim

Tim hangs out by the Christmas tree! The big kids were napping so Mommy and Tim got in a good photo session!

Tim loves to hang out in the jumper when the big kids have abandoned it's use!

Not quite strong enough for it yet. His poor arm ends up going through one of the leg holes.
Every now and then, the big kids are sleeping and Tim wakes up to get some free time with Mommy! Over the last couple of days, we had some fun!

It's Christmas Time

The weather outside is frightful... but the fire is so delightful...
Well, truth be told, the weather is not so frightful but the fire is delightful. After years of spending winters in the Midwest and East Coast, it is definitely weird to experience winters where the cold is in the 50s. But Christmas time it is! The day after Thanksgiving, the Besmer family purchased our tree and got all of our decorations out. There's nothing better than a fire going and the smell of fresh pine in your house!

Potty Training - Round 2

Well, let the not so intense round 2 of potty training begin! I really don't have the energy to start potty training again but Violet has let us know quite a few times when she "poops" which means either poop or pee. She points to her diaper and says, "poop." So I am going to ease into it. She has been less than thrilled to sit on the potty for the last month or so but she finally is willing to do it. She likes to follow someone (yes usually me) into the bathroom and sit on her toilet. It's usually with her clothes on but it's a start. So she has allowed me to put her on the froggy toilet before bath and low and behold... she peed today! So, baby steps baby steps. Slowly but surely Violet will get potty trained!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent our Thanksgiving day at my sister-in-law, Erin's, house. It was nice to not have to prepare an entire dinner like last year. Last year our Thanksgiving had an entirely different vibe. A year ago, Matt was leaving and this year we have a lot to be thankful for. Matt's safe return, a new baby, and I have the choice to go back to work or not.
Grandma was brave and did arts and crafts with the kids

The baby toys have come out and I think Violet and Ashton enjoy them more than Timothy!

Timothy Can Roll Both Ways

Yesterday we put up our Christmas tree and Timothy was on the ground. He can easily roll from back to stomach but I turned around and he went from stomach to back! Yeah for Timothy!

A First for Timothy

He rolled over today! Just shy of 4 months old and he rolled over in his crib while going to sleep! Of course that meant I had to roll him back over and continue letting him cry it out during his nap. Now if I can just stop swaddling him!
