And what's a day without a temper tantrum! I think Ashton was trying to steal the laundry basket away from her! Poor girl!

Super cool photo fun
I learn a little more and more about my camera little by little. These fun photos were created when the kids were playing with glow sticks and using a slow shutter speed. I set the camera to "S" mode and dropped the settings down to 1 second. You're supposed to use a tripod but I just steadied my arm against the table and held my camera as steady as possible!
Just another one of those days
Why is it February and the weather is in the high 60s and low 70s?! I'm not complaining but it sure is weird! Especially after living in Indiana and Virginia for the past 5 years. I know it wasn't this nice last year this time!
But the other day was so nice, the kids even ran in the sprinklers!

I love how it looks like Tim is winking at you
This is his usually happy face
I love how the light is hitting Violet's face through the window
And of course, the naked kids running through the sprinklers... in February?!
And what's a day without making some mud!
Ick!
Heart shaped cookies
TP stamping
Being a SAHM (stay-at-home Mom) means you are supposed to do all those things you wished you could do with your kids but never had time to when you were working right?! Well, pinterest has made me all artsy and crafty with ideas galore! This is the simplest idea was using a toilet paper roll (love the idea of recycling something)! You bend the toilet paper roll in half, tuck the top half in, and tape it up to form a heart! Put paint on a paper and let the kiddos stamp away! Tons of fun and super cute!
How cute are those hearts?!
I think the kids enjoyed squirting paint on the paper plate more than the stamping
Ashton turns the activity messy!
Super cute idea!
The Fresno Zoo
As part of my Mom's group, we had a Zoo outing! Fortunately, Papa T was available to come join us and we had a blast! It has been unusually nice and the kids enjoyed a beautiful day out and finished with a picnic and some park play time!
The kids in the petting and feeding area... This guy was full and sleepy!
Trying to find the monkey
I love Violet's face in this picture -- they are looking at the bear!
Tim along for the ride!
I think the tractor might be in competition for the best experience at the zoo!
Super cute! Violet holding Papa T's hand!
Violet loved the tractor ride too!
Ashton gets stuck at the park
Violet is always trying to keep up with her big bro!

Happy Valentine's Day projects
My first (Pinterest) project was for Valentine's Day. Look at the adorable card I had the kids make for the Grandparent's Valentine's Day card! Simple, adorable, and classic!
And while perusing the internet I found some Valentine's Day picture ideas. Ideally, all three kids would have made it into one picture but it's nearly impossible right now. Maybe in a few months... or years!
I love that I can find ideas to use that don't cost any (or much) money. This time around we had everything for both projects - construction paper and finger paint and of course, sidewalk chalk. And it always helps to have some patience!
Happy Valentine's Day to all!
