Our pegola!

Matt would NEVER admit this... but I think he's "nesting." Look what he built with his own two hands plus the use of some power tools! He would probably say something like... we are increasing the saleability of the home... OR improving the value of our home... OR he might even say something like... it's for us to enjoy for the hot summer nights. But really... I think he's nesting!!! But... it's pretty cool. I have my own do-it-yourself carpenter at home! Don't you wish you had one too?

The Heat is On!

I hear the song in my head... The heat is on! It is the 3rd day in the row that Hampton Roads has experienced over 100 degree temperature. It's not just the 100 degree weather, but add the humidity to it and boy is it hot!! One more day of this and a cold front comes into town lowering the temperatures to the mid 80s. Thank goodness!

I figured since I had a tighter shirt on today, I would show you what I look like with a tight shirt! Enjoy! I am definitely getting much bigger!

Updated full bath

Before... pedestal sink

After... vanity sink
Before... storage
After... storage cabinet

Before... green paint ... After ... "Desert Caravan" orange beige. Those are also pictures I took of our Sedona honeymoon. The orange color of the mountains matched the desert color. What a coincidence!
One step in our home renovations done. We have updated our full bath as much as possible right now. Next, we are finishing our 1/2 bath. I don't even think I took pictures of the before as it was SO ugly. I mean... ugly... industrial. It was like they went to a garage sale that a school was hosting and grabbed a sink and light fixture. Matt still has to finish the pergola that he is creating. Then onto the baby room and the guest room. Will the improvements ever end???

24 weeks!

22 weeks...

24 weeks and growing...

Woah Nelly! I knew I was growing but whoa! Now that I've seen the pictures, my belly really has grown quite a bit. It might be the shirt because different shots look bigger and smaller, but it's hard to imagine I still have 16 weeks to grow!

Weekends are for relaxing

Matt is in Chicago at a law conference until tomorrow so you will all have to wait another day for an updated belly picture. But it gives me a time for time to myself to enjoy just sitting there watching tv. Ahhh.. the life!

So, I started out the day with some prenatal yoga. Not quite the yoga I am used to but at least I have learned which yoga poses you shouldn't do. Other than Warrior I, full lunges, and the regular child's pose, I think I can get away with a "real" yoga class. Not quite the hot yoga I enjoy, but at least a normal yoga class. I have also finished painting our full bath and have begun reading the Baby Bargains book. It's a baby product research book that gives ratings on the good baby products. So hopefully I will be prepared to go out a register us next weekend!

Linea Nigra

I was just thinking I didn't have much to update on my pregnancy but I have discovered something new! I now have the pregnancy line down my belly. It's not the entire way, but it's about to my belly button maybe a little bit above. I have read the line has probably always been there but you can't see it because it's so light and the imbalance of pregnancy hormones darkens it. So there it is... something new. And no I am not taking a picture of my new discovery!

23 weeks!

I guess a picture of Parker enjoying the sun will have to do this week. Can't you see his glow of enjoying the sun?! You can imagine me with the same glow!

One more week down. No new pictures because I don't think I've grown much. I think if I do them every 2 weeks everyone can see more of a difference! So stay tuned for next week! Nothing new has really happened this week, as far as the pregnancy goes. Other than possible Braxton-Hicks contractions and a couple of pounds, everything is pretty cool! I do have to say the past couple of weeks have got to be some of the best of the pregnancy. Easy, comfortable, and at a point where people no longer think I am just pudgy! Not quite to a point where strangers will ask me when I am due but no longer at the point where acquaintances are afraid to ask if I am gaining weight. Plus everyone says I have "the glow."
