Watch Eliza Grow - 8 months

Wow! Miss Eliza is 8 months old. Let's see what she can do? Hmm, she can Army crawl and crawl properly but only does this for a few crawling steps. She loves to eat and prefers "real" food to her baby food despite not having any teeth yet. She is a "mighty might" according to her daycare teachers as she is so tiny but is moving all around her friends. She can climb up their little steps there and loves to play with all their toys. I'm not sure how big she is but she has to be over 17 pounds, maybe? She was 15 pounds, 3 ounces at her 6 months visit, so I think so as she is moving into her 6-9 month clothes! She is really attached to me, which is definitely different than the other kids. She just loves her mom. She's still nursing but definitely not all the time. She can pull to stand and babbles, Nananana. I'm sure my Mom will be excited about that one. She gets very excited and laughs at her siblings, especially Timmy. She is oh-so-close to sleeping through the night but when I let her cry it out, Violet wakes up which is usually around 430-5am! And who wants that when it's dark outside! Not this mama! I can't wait until she can sleep all the way through but she likes an early bedtime, usually at 630-7pm! She's a very happy girl in general, until she's not and she will let you know!

Eliza scooting around

Tim and Eliza Baptized

We finally got Tim and Eliza baptized. We are all for the two-for-one specials! It feels good to have the First Sacrament completed with all of our children. Now Ashton is starting his classes to work towards First Communion!

Watch Eliza Grow - 7 months

Eliza is now 7 months! She is such a fun, little girl. She loves to laugh and watch her big brothers and sister play and run circles around her. Tim can easily get her to laugh. She is working on crawling and can almost do it! She can do a couple crawling steps and then resorts back to her scooting. At her 6 1/2 month appointment, she was 15 pounds, 3.5 ounces and 25 3/4 inches. She was around the 20-30th%ile for both length and weight. She loves to eat baby foods and is progressing onto baby puffs and Ritz crackers. She is, oh so close! to sleeping through the night. She slept from 7:00pm to 5:15am last night! I can't wait to watch as she grows!

Just Another Wednesday

Someone is a happy baby

Good Big Sister

A very near future crawler
So I have gone back to work part-time, 20 hours a week! It really helps with my sanity and my ability to be a more patient Mom! So, I'm a SAHM on Wednesdays. Violet goes to school and I get to spend time with the little kids. Speaking of Violet, I had our first parent-teacher conference. She's doing well and can identify a few letters and numbers, can write the letters of her name (albeit out of sequence), can count to 19, and can identify some shapes. So, she's doing well and is "on track" with the rest of her class per the teacher. After she got home, we had some fun time before naps. I was able to shoot Eliza's 6 month Pooh pictures, get some cute ones with the girls, and Violet read a book before it was time for lunch and naps! Tim and Eliza napped while I rested (before cleaning up) and Violet does activities which usually include coloring, writing, drawing, and cutting paper!
