It's a perfect take-up... lead leg is up and everything!

Ashton is definitely a strong little boy! We discovered if we let him hang on something, he will hold on! Yesterday we put him up on an overhang and he held on. It actually looked like he was trying to do pull-ups. Today we went outside after 4 days holed up in the house and Ashton had some fun playtime at the park.

Uh oh

I think Ashton has added "uh oh" to his vocabulary. Occasionally he says "tan tu" which we thought was Thank You but that has gone away. We'll see how long the uh oh lasts.

November Nor'easter

The November Nor'easter has come and gone. Thankfully, we did not get a lot of flooding here in Newport News but Norfolk (the city I work in) sure did get flooded! I couldn't get into work on Thursday and Friday. We had high winds and continuous rain here in Newport News and downed power lines and trees which left us powerless for almost a day. Thankfully we are up and running again. It must be winter time because my crockpot is on and I'm baking!!

Ridiculous cowboy boots

I found the most ridiculously cute pair of cowboy boots for Ashton at a local consignment shop. Ashton can't really walk in them because of the heel but he stomps his feet like a quick feet dance. I'll have to try to catch it on video now that he's feeling better.

I looked over at Ashton to discover him standing on his table.

Obviously a very determined little boy who loves loves loves to climb! He will climb everything in his sight. He's like spiderman!

Behind the couch

Ashton has discovered the little space between the wall and the couch in our den. He loves to run circles around the couch. He has been at home with Matt the past two days with a fever and another ear infection. Another round of antibiotics and a pediatrician visit to ensure the ear infection has gone away. The doctor thinks it is leftover from his flu/ear infection and it never went away. I'm going to see what we can do about ear tubes to prevent any future ear infections and speech delay.
